    The Beast Titan from Attack on Titan Recreated in 3D

    3D Character Artist Bassem Wageeh has recreated the Beast Titan from the anime and manga series Attack on Titan. According to the artist, this character was created to dive deep into new character art techniques, especially hair grooming. The titan was sculpted in ZBrush, textured in Substance 3D Painter, and rendered in Arnold.

    The portrait was created by Senior Lighting TD Adam O'Donnell. The character was sculpted in ZBrush and textured in Mari using maps from TexturingXYZ. Lookdev and lighting were made in Maya/Arnold within an ACES color pipeline. For hair generation, the artist used XGen.

    A YouTuber Learned Blender in 24 Hours

    The YouTuber Sara Dietschy has published a video demonstrating how she learned Blender just in 24 hours. The girl explained that the decision to challenge herself with this task was inspired by another YouTube video entitled "I Forced Myself to Learn Blender – 100 Hour Progress" She wanted to create 3D models of what she referred to as "Animal Crossing retro game style interior design voxel art-ish stuff"
