    What is Glassmorphism

    The goal of glassmorphism design is to create an interface that looks like an assortment of glassy panels hovering in the background space. All elements in this design style have a translucent/transparent look. When these elements are placed on colorful backgrounds, the glass effect is accentuated. It can also be used to design windows or widgets.

    Can you fix 2,500 TypeScript errors?

    Apple bans use of ChatGPT internally for internal use. Apple also banned GitHub's automated coding tool, Copilot, as well. Apple joins an ever-growing list of companies like Amazon and a number of banks including JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Citigroup and Deutsche Bank.

    Apple doesn’t want you developing hobby apps

    Apple charges a $99 yearly developer fee even if you don't want to publish your app on the Appstore. The provisioning certificate in Xcode provides temporary access to the app on your device. Apple's Appstore guidelines can be confusing, making it difficult to publish niche hobby applications.

    Hardware is fun again

    Ever since Apple's M1 premiered, it seems the floodgates to interesting and large improvements have opened up. The generational jumps are happening more frequently, and the gains aren't measly any longer. As more companies start redoing the math on cloud, and pulling their applications off the rental racket, I think we'll see a resurgence.

    Bear 2 is a terrific notes app — and it only took forever to build

    The Verge Bear 2, the new note-taking app from developer Shiny Frog, is launching today on iOS, iPadOS, and Mac. It's a complete rewrite of the app, and has been a lot more work than the company expected. The underlying text editor, which the company calls Panda, has been in beta testing since early 2020.
