    OpenAI today launched plugins for ChatGPT, which extend the bot’s functionality by granting it access to third-party knowledge sources and databases, including the worldwide web. The live web is less curated than a static training data set and — by implication — less filtered.

Zuckerberg also suggests younger engineers perform better when they work with colleagues in- person for at least three days a week. The insights stem from a memo sent to employees earlier today, in which Zuckerberg revealed the company was cutting 10,000 jobs.

    GitHub takes down repository containing Twitter’s source code

    GitHub takes down repository containing Twitter's source code. Twitter filed a petition in the District Court of Northern California asking GitHub to take down the code and also help it find the perpetrator. The code-hosting site didn’t say if any users were able to access the repository before the company took it down.
