Mesa 26.1-devel has merged support for the VK_KHR_copy_memory_indirect Vulkan extension into the Radeon RADV driver. This extension, introduced in Vulkan 1.4.328 last September, enables GPU-driven copies between memory and image regions using indirect parameters read from a buffer at execution time. The extension was developed collaboratively by Valve, NVIDIA, AMD, Collabora, Qualcomm, and LunarG engineers. It was already supported by Mesa's software Lavapipe driver, the NVK driver, and NVIDIA's proprietary driver. An open merge request also exists for Intel's ANV driver.
