KDE Plasma 6.7 is bringing several notable improvements, including a long-awaited microphone test feature in audio settings that lets users record and play back a brief audio sample to check levels. Other highlights include support for the notifications portal for Flatpak and sandboxed apps, improved screen chooser visualizations, correct render device selection for screen recordings on multi-GPU systems, better multi-GPU detection in System Monitor, and the first steps of Vulkan support landing in KWin. Plasma 6.6.4 also receives fixes for the bouncy app launch animation under fractional scaling and multiple crash fixes.
