D7VK 1.9 has been released with major performance improvements for 2D-heavy Direct3D games running on Vulkan. The update introduces delayed image uploads and dirty tracking, resulting in dramatic FPS gains — Anno 1503 jumped from 36 to 75 FPS and Hogs of War from 18.4 to 60 FPS. The new system also reduces CPU usage, lowers memory footprint, and improves frame-time consistency. D7VK supports D3D 7/6/5/3 APIs for vintage games rendered via the modern Vulkan API.
