    WSL 2 distros are now supported on Windows Server

    Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) 2 type distros are now supported on Windows Server 2022. To get it, all you need to do is click “Check for Updates” on your Windows Server machine to update to the latest version. To make sure you have the right update, please check that you have KB 5014678 installed.

    Internet Explorer 11 has retired and is officially out of support—what you need to know

    Internet Explorer (IE) is officially retired and out of support as of today, June 15, 2022. Over the next few months, opening Internet Explorer will progressively redirect users to our new modern browser, Microsoft Edge with IE mode. Users will still see the Internet Explorer icon on their devices (such as on the taskbar or in the Start menu) Users will have their data like favorites, passwords and settings imported from Internet Explorer.

    Cross-platform Gitea runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, ARM, etc. Simply run the binary for your platform, ship it with Docker, or get it packaged. Lightweight GiteA has low minimal requirements and can run on an inexpensive Raspberry Pi. Save your machine energy!
