    Ubuntu 22.04 Beta Released, Available to Download

    The Ubuntu 22.04 beta is now available to download. It comes with the bulk of the recent GNOME 42 release, including the latest GNOME Shell. You can install the beta as your main OS and upgrade to the final, finished version (when it arrives) LibreOffice 7.3, Thunderbird 91, and the latest version of Mozilla Firefox are included.

    Ubuntu Has a Brand New Logo

    The new Ubuntu logo is still orange and white, but the ‘circle of friends’ motif itself is tighter and more unified than in the incumbent logo we’re all familiar with. Perhaps more strikingly, Ubuntu’s new logo is no longer sat inside a circle but housed within a rectangle.
