Switching to Android was easy
Switching from iPhone to Android can be easy when you're not heavily tied to Apple's platform services. Key apps like Email and Calendar provide easy alternatives, transferring iMessage conversations is simpler than expected, and major social apps and utilities have Android versions as good as iOS counterparts. Other advantages include a better Android Auto experience, the ability to play Fortnite, and the freedom to choose from different service providers. Cloud photos now available in the Android photo picker
Cloud photos can now be seamlessly integrated with the Android photo picker, allowing users to access their backed-up photos and albums from their chosen cloud media app. This feature eliminates the need to switch between apps and provides a convenient interface for users to select images and videos. For developers, integrating the Android photo picker reduces friction, eliminates the need for runtime permissions, and simplifies access to photos on the device. The feature is currently rolling out with the February Google System Update for devices running Android 12 and above.
