Great to see Zed finally on Windows! I’ve been using it for a while and love how clean, fast, and simply enjoyable it is — hope Windows users will feel the same.

Once the autocomplete tab measures up to Cursor’s, I’m switching in a whim.

Zed is awesome and it’s been on Windows for a little while but only the nightly build.
But now it’s Zed for everyone!! 🎉
It takes longer to start my ESLint lang server than it does to load Zed 🤣

Zed is good, but there’s a problem: if you try to sync your account settings and extensions, they are completely missing.

The AI panel is quite dangerous, especially with some keyboard shortcuts that delete the chat or start a new chat from blank.
Also, there is no checkpoint restore. You might find yourself loosing your work quite easily.
Much hype, but not much difference from VSCode in terms of memory. I saw it going up to 2 - 3 GB of memory pretty fast with only a few files open (I guess the AI panel is the culprit here, as well).
The Git Panel is completely broken and the project settings don’t work. May issues like these.
Not very impressed after a few weeks of usage.
