Run the provided shell script to install Zed on most Linux distributions using the command: curl https://zed.dev/install.sh | sh.

lets see if it can replace vscode and neovim as many people claim it to be better than these.
I hope it comes as an option for text editor as vscode and neovim are two goto choice for developers

Wow, I checked Zed literally a day before release and was like “eh, it’s only for Mac OS -_-”. I installed the editor, then tried to find an extension for Rust, then found out there is a native support for Rust already there. I tried to work on one of my Rust/Svelte projects and so far I must say I like it! There are few things I miss, like split terminal, but I have feeling like this is gonna be my new favorite editor (coming from VSCode).

Call me when Zed is on Windows😢😭 can’t wait to try it out

I have used Zed for a few weeks on TS projects and I like it. It’s not as advanced as VSCode but give it a try. Hope this editor continues to improve
