Arch and Gentoo wikis were one of the best Linux wikis around. While Debian’s wiki is nothing to be ashamed of as well, let’s hope this transition makes it even better. 🙂

I think the whole “avoiding content duplication” thing is just a move in the wrong direction. Sure, you usually don’t want duplicate code, but if you are writing a Wiki without ever anything repeating, you are always expecting the reader to read an entire Wiki, keep it inside the brain at all times, to understand any deeper article, as nothing is “repeated”…

Big move for the better for Debian.
