YouTube Music launched an AI-powered playlist generator for Premium subscribers on iOS and Android. Users can create custom playlists using text or voice prompts like "raging death metal" or "90s classic hits" through the Library tab. This follows similar features from Spotify, Amazon Music, and Deezer. YouTube continues enhancing Premium benefits, recently restricting lyrics to free users in limited experiments, as Google reports 325 million paying subscribers across YouTube Premium and Google One.
