In this video, I walk through the exact steps to pull up the saved WiFi password using a built in Windows tool. No extra software or downloads needed. This method uses the Wireless Network Properties menu that's been sitting in Windows for years and is now rarely used.

Windows 10 and 11 store Wi-Fi passwords in plain text and can display them through a simple built-in UI. By navigating to Network Connections (NCPA.CPL), right-clicking the Wi-Fi adapter, opening Status > Wireless Properties > Security tab, and checking 'Show characters', anyone with access to a Windows machine can reveal the saved Wi-Fi password without any hacking tools.
