Your GNOME desktop can do what Hyprland does, and you don't need to switch

Forge is a GNOME extension that brings tiling window manager functionality to GNOME without requiring a switch to Hyprland or another desktop environment. It automatically tiles open windows, supports stacking and tabbed modes, and includes a full set of keyboard shortcuts for window management. The main caveat is that the project is currently seeking a new maintainer, which may slow future development.
