The final release is scheduled for April 16, 2024. The new features in Alpha 2 include changes from 4.4 and 5.0, replacement of bootstrap modal with a new dialog, shortcut overview, ContentHistory field, and bug fixes. The development of Joomla 5.1 is ongoing with the possibility of adding new features based on tester feedback.
