As someone who just got thrown into a legacy project after a long time - I’ll try to view it more as learning experience and take the positives. Still hate it tho :)

Legacy projects are the types that create rapidly graying hair (or sometimes no hair)! I often think that rebuilding from scratch would be easier!

Legacy projects are a great way to gain a profound appreciation for the fact that you are actually capable of handling a lot of the scaling problems that you hyperventilated about in your side project when it actually needs the scale
