While it's easy (and lazy af) to make "ClosedAI" jokes, the reality is that OpenAI has been a great steward of open source projects for a while now.  

OpenAI's Codex CLI has been open source since day -- as an Apache 2.0-licensed project.  OpenAI's Whisper is MIT-licensed
