The Raspberry Pi Foundation has launched a free, self-paced online course called 'Using PRIMM to teach programming' on their new Training Hub platform. PRIMM (Predict, Run, Investigate, Modify, Make) is a research-informed pedagogical framework that helps educators structure programming lessons to balance support with independence. The 1–2 hour course covers the five PRIMM stages, how they align with teaching principles like scaffolding and cognitive load management, and includes hands-on activity design. Participants leave with a complete PRIMM activity tailored to their own learners. The course is aimed at formal and non-formal educators worldwide, regardless of programming language used.
