InsForge is an open-source backend development platform designed specifically for AI coding agents and AI code editors. It acts as a semantic layer between agents and backend primitives—exposing authentication, PostgreSQL database, S3-compatible storage, edge functions, a model gateway, and site deployment through structured schemas agents can understand and operate. Agents connect via an MCP server to fetch documentation, configure primitives, and inspect backend state. Available as a cloud-hosted service or self-hosted via Docker Compose, with one-click deployment options on Railway, Zeabur, and Sealos.
