Hermes Desktop is an open-source, cross-platform Electron app that provides a GUI for installing, configuring, and using the Hermes Agent — a self-improving AI assistant from NousResearch. It replaces manual CLI management with a full-featured desktop interface covering chat with SSE streaming, session management, profile switching, 14 toolsets, memory systems, scheduled tasks, and 16 messaging gateway integrations. The app supports 11 LLM providers including OpenRouter, Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, and local endpoints like Ollama and LM Studio. Built with React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS 4, Vite 7, and better-sqlite3, it runs on macOS, Linux, and Windows.
