XAML source generation in .NET 10 MAUI compiles XAML into C# code at build time rather than interpreting it at runtime or compiling to IL. This brings several benefits: improved debug-mode performance (especially on Android emulators), the ability to set breakpoints inside generated XAML code, better compile-time error messages, and safer AOT/linker behavior on iOS by creating hard references. To enable it, set the MauiXamlInflator property to 'SourceGen' in your project file. The generated code is viewable under project dependencies in the MAUI controls source XAML generator node.
