X is revamping its Creator Subscriptions with several new features: exclusive threads that let creators monetize content directly on the platform, a refreshed subscription paywall, a shareable subscriptions card for self-promotion, and a new analytics dashboard. The onboarding process has been streamlined to two steps, and application review times have been reduced. X also formally announced a 'Paid Partnership' label for sponsored content. The company has paid out over $45 million to creators to date and has more than doubled the 2026 revenue pool due to Premium subscription growth. These changes come alongside other X announcements this week, including beta tests of X Chat and the X Money payments service.
