It’s a fool’s errand to exclude someone because of their geo-location anyway. It’s basically trivial to spoof, so anyone nefarious would just spoof their location to avoid the block. It’s unfortunate, but politics is like glitter. Once it’s out of the bottle, it contaminates everything and it’s almost impossible to eliminate. I can only hope that rational heads prevail, but to be honest - I doubt they will.

Keep code and politics / wars seperated…

This is sad news because of the war. I understand that <code>People != Government</code> and hence some people do not want their government to go to war. He may need to lay low for awhile until anger subsides from those are affected by his country’s invasion. Maybe after a few years and after the war, he could re-engage in the open source world again.
