Keeping PHP versions up-to-date provides us with significant advantages in both performance and readability in our projects. In the past, we used to get bogged down in endless <code>if</code> blocks just to check whether a value existed. For example:
<pre><code class="language-php">if ($user !== null) {
 $profile = $user-&gt;profile; // Eloquent relationship
 if ($profile !== null) {
 $address = $profile-&gt;address;
 if ($address !== null) {
 $city = $address-&gt;city;
 }
 }
}
</code></pre>
The Nullsafe Operator (<code>?-&gt;</code>), introduced in PHP 8, now offers us a cleaner and more comprehensible way to write our code:
<pre><code class="language-php">$city = $user?-&gt;profile?-&gt;address?-&gt;city;
</code></pre>
With this feature, you can now check objects in a single line while automatically handling <code>null</code> checks at every step. Be sure to try it out to eliminate nested <code>if</code> statements in your code and achieve a cleaner appearance.

PHP 8 introduces the Nullsafe Operator (`?->`) to simplify code by handling `null` checks within object chains in a single line. Using this operator leads to cleaner, more maintainable, and modern PHP code by eliminating nested `if` statements, resulting in fewer lines of code and faster development.

This seriously is soo nice and easy to write/read. This paired with guard clauses when necessary removes soo much indentations :-)

My experiences:
In this example you can use null coalescing operator like:
<pre><code>$city = $user-&gt;profile-&gt;address-&gt;city ?? null;
</code></pre>
The only difference is that in this way if the <code>$user</code> is undefined then <code>$city</code> also will be null.
Null coalescing operator is available since 7.4. It works for property access only. For method access only null safety works which is a nice feature.

They could have called optional chaining like in JavaScript.

last php updates are perfect (except Attributes)
