WordPress Alternatives: Stick With PHP or Pivot to JavaScript?

This is a very one sided article. WordPress block editor is built completely on react and you can make a complete custom website without touching one line of php code. Yes it’s fine to talk about alternatives, but Drupal??? Really??? I wonder if the author have ever touched a Drupal website. That’s the real horror.

PHP still powers 75% of the internet, I feel articles like cast shade upon a language that has stood the test of time and has seen great strides in recent years.

The irony is that “The New Stack” website is itself a WordPress =)

“Declined in popularity” = cheaper workforce … no overpriced javascript dudes everyone is competing for. And “modern” cms, in which way exactly? How using JS makes it more modern than PHP. Single sided nonsense of unexperienced user saying hype stuff without actually knowing …

I love PHP and I use it everyday but if I have to switch on another stack I’ll switch on something like Go, no Javascript or Python or Ruby (which I love too, btw).
