Wirestock, originally a stock photography distribution platform, has raised $23M in Series A funding led by Nava Ventures to expand its AI training data supply business. The company pivoted in 2023 to become a multi-modal data provider, supplying images, videos, design assets, and 3D/gaming content to six of the largest foundation model makers. With over 700,000 creators on its platform, Wirestock reports $40M annual run-rate revenue and has paid out $15M to contributors. The funding will go toward hiring in research, engineering, and product, as well as building enterprise software for AI labs to collaborate on datasets.
