Winlator lets you play Steam games on your Android phone, and it actually works

Winlator is an Android app that creates a compatibility layer using WINE, Box86, and Box64 to run x86 Windows games — including Steam titles — on Android phones. Tested on a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, the setup involves installing the APK outside the Play Store, creating a container, and installing Steam within it. While it works and reduces reliance on cloud gaming, performance depends heavily on hardware and it doesn't match dedicated gaming handhelds like the Retroid Pocket 5.
