I switched to Linux 20 years ago, when it was not so trendy. In my home everything works on Linux, except my wife’s laptop.
When my wife switch to Linux (or I do it for her and she will not notice anything), then it will be year of Linux for me!

I have never switched to Linux and I am doing really good.
All those articles about transition to Linux or how Linux is better than Windows are quite boring.

For me, the Year of Linux Desktop will be when most games get developed primarily for Linux.
I really hope that Valve makes this real

I think, with the TPM obligation now, around 240.000.000(!!!) PCs are supposed to be replaced. For what? So Microsoft can spy better on its customers? Nobody should get rid of their hardware because of Windows. If you don’t need Adobe or another proprietary software that locks you in, just give it a try.
