This is pointless. PHP RFC’s are constantly being updated as are PHP versions. That’s like asking are Java, C# and C++ outdated.
Are they new languages? No. Are they outdated? No.

Why does this discussion even happening every darn year, its so pointless

Is “PHP is dying” the new “Hello World” of blog posts?
It feels like the same compulsive need to predict a future that never arrives
the same anxiety that sits at the core of our push for AI. We think that if we can just control **“what comes next,” **we’ll finally be at peace.
But the irony is: as long as you’re obsessing over the future,
