Will PewDiePie Hurt or Help Linux?

Most people will try it out, get stuck, or realize that Windows programs will not work on Linux, then switch back to Windows.
But some will stay on Linux.
Is it a net positive for the Linux community? I think so.

It surely doesn’t help that some of those youtubers try the most ass-side approach installing Arch (the vanilla way, not endeavourOS, not CatchyOS or even ArcoLinux, which clearly divides its builds on level of difficulty). Felix clearly has time and it’s fun for him to mess around, he did many things I wanted to do, but I just didn’t had patience anymore, opting to come back to GNOME on endeavourOS cause it “just works”. I have to code, not recreate one button dashboard experience with Elkowars Wacky Widgets (but I would want to).
They go with the same mentality - Linux is hard, you have to use the terminal, “hacker mode”, setup gaming environment etc. rather than explain, that you can just choose the distribution based on the main purpose you use OS daily. Just Like Windows? Gaming? Work? Minimal resources use for some old laptop? There’s a distro for that.
Don’t get me wrong, some do it for fun, but often they repeat the same stereotypes that maybe had some power like 10-15 years ago. Now arguably with some preparation you can have even less hassle experience than on Windows at the start, down the line even more.
