Why Startups Don't Use .NET and C#

Speed of iterations ?
Never used .Net, but I would like to.
But just like Springboot, I easily can see .Net as slower to start with.
While Python or PHP (yeah!) are very very productive with Django / Laravel / Symfony.
For JS/TS is just that its that easy to find someone with enough skills to get on the ride. And for what I know, using a framework like Adonis can be as fast as using Laravel/Symfony.
Not much compute for most SAAS so all 3 are just fine performance wise.
So:

<li>Cheap</li>

As for the cost a Python dev, no, a web python dev doesnt cost that much.
Web dev is generally in the “low cost employee” of the devs spectrum, especially in the AI era.
You will not take a data scientist or ML engineer for your django app…

I am curious to see if this still remains the trend as Blazor keeps gaining traction.

C#/.Net/MudBlazor
Currently using these in the app that I am coding MudBlazor is plug and play on the frontend but a lot of the times it can really fight with the developer you need to actively fight the MudBlazor element or code it in raw html when the element does not meet business requirement.

Been programming for several decades and I have yet to see a compelling argument for C# or .NET. Every time I’ve tried to dig in my teeth and learn it, it just feels like, “why am I doing all of this code to do something simple?”

EFCore remains the best ORM I’ve ever used. Data operations are a breeze in C#, and the type safety of it all is the cherry on top. C# does require more boilerplate, but that’s only for initial setup of controllers or services, and that boilerplate (startup files specifically) helps inform infrastructure and deployment decisions.
