Text definitively has some good points but it’s not all black and white. There are many more variables to get in consideration, like team seniority, size and fluctuation of team members, and of course SM quality and experience regardless of certification.
But yes scrum has flaws!

No matter what methodology you are trying to use, always check if you’re practicing the real agile:

Stick to the principles, the practices could be changed.
Unfortunately, like a country constitution is not sufficient to people to act correctly and you need laws, observing the principles of agile is hard to be done by most of people and usually it does not suffices.
So the methods (sometimes flawed, as the laws) had to be created and followed. 
Software is hard, but people are harder.

The best agile project management methodology you can use IMO is Kanban. Its simple and you get things done. Scrum is just another version of good ol’ waterfall process.
