<p>a few years ago i went on an sbc adventure, and i had a similar experience. i got a few higher spec’d boards that just didn’t work, or just weren’t worth the hassle. the pi4 i had always worked without much if any real work. i still use it to try out different linux distros and whatnot, and they usually work without any real work.</p>
