It’s good to see people realizing that while we have gained a huge variety of content on the internet we have a dearth of curation. Choosing good quality sources needs professional curation the functions that Librarians and educators (like university professors etc. NOT line teachers my experience at the line education level i.e. grades K-12 is now poor with too many fads and they are overwhelmed)

Although it’s an interesting post, I don’t think this is a problem of too much content. Society also has no problem with having a choice. In my opinion, a large part of society is completely overwhelmed by everything! In my opinion, anyone who has a problem learning something new has other problems than too much content! Learning something means dealing with a topic in a concentrated and focused manner. Many people simply no longer take the time to think about a topic in detail. Many people no longer want to know how something works. You can google most things or ask an AI. As I said: Interesting post that also makes a few good points. But I stick with it: the ability to acquire new knowledge is primarily a personality attitude. And my grandfather always said: If you want, you’ll find a way. If you don’t want to, you have reasons.

That’s a perfect point; view shorter content to see if these are the things you want to learn. I did not think of that.
