Why is everything Javascript?

“What is the Web really about? Who do we develop our products for? Is it designed for Silicon Valley rock star 10x ninja frontend engineers to have fun coding on? Or is the Web a place for users from all walks of life, using all kinds of technologies, who might be using your product in the most stressful situations?”

I just think JS is popular as its the leading language in the web browsers. Because people were forced to use it for websites(the most used type software people use), It probably came out of familearity as people were already forced to use it for web, but now server-side js is a thing, it just continued.

Because it’s necessary, unlike all those other languages. This website and interaction wouldn’t be possible without JavaScript, but it would certainly be possible without Rust.
Does everything need to be about JavaScript?
I don’t think everything is about JavaScript.
I work with it, but I’m exploring Go outside my job, and there are tons of resources for that.
