I have unfortunate occasion to work on MacOS after working 14y on Linux and first i3 then swaywm. MacOS is no were near to those. And this full screen and scrolling through them, Christ on Devil wheel, this is the worst experience I had in my F life.

It works only on linux. Others are just “mimic” with ugly diry almost working workaround.
Mac is horrible for window tiling it was never intended to be used like that and we see it.
Windows, good shortcuts, but no tiling enforcement at all (Definitely a “trade off” but not desirable if you really like tiling you want it to be automatically tiled efficiently.
-&gt; Main reason I work with Linux and Hyprland (previously i3 and sway) -&gt; I need a window manager that will automatically ensure that all newly opened window will use maximum available screen space and adjust existing ones.
Works beautifully but require some discipline and learning. I would not recommend it to everyone.
So basically choose what fits to you! Mac has an other “spirit” it’s one window full screen and you slide horizontally.
Windows is a mix of everything at all levels.

I genuinely love this feature. Window tiling has been a gamechanger for my schoolwork: especially in my coding classes.
