Sure, Apple is a great company that makes great products. But many of its policies and practices rub me the wrong way.

Apple products are well-engineered and user-friendly, appealing especially to non-technical users. However, the author prefers Windows and Android due to their flexibility, lower cost, and customization options. Concerns include Apple's closed ecosystem, privacy practices, developer restrictions, and the high App Store take rate. Despite recognizing Apple's success and innovation, the author finds these issues too significant to overlook.

Why I don’t buy Apple products

Apple (and google) is probably the most “data leaker” of all. They pretend to have privacy, but they don’t. 
Also, I’m Brazilian; here, a new Apple phone costs R$5000,00, which is a load of fucking money. I can buy a motorcycle with that. Lol. No phone should cost this much. 
I dislike closed system too much.

Most people agree with you on those points. There’s a reason why Apple’s ecosystem is so closed.

OP doesn’t buy apple products because:

<li>Apple makes “great products that are well-engineered, beautifully made” but cost more than the cheaper alternatives</li>
<li>Steve jobs was mean to his employees (because no other exeuctive at a company was ever mean to their employees)</li>
<li>Closed ecosystem and the UI is too consistent and meets Apple’s high standards</li>
<li>Apple is secretly tracking people which is bad; but Google and Facebook doing it is to be expected (so it’s okay?)</li>
<li>Apple has basic requirements that must be met to pubish on the app store which apparently is bad for OP</li>
<li>Apple also charges a 30% fee to sell on their platform which makes them bad (Even though the google play store has a 15% fee for the first 1 million earnings and then google play charges 30% fee beyond that (but that’s okay for OP)</li>
