Why don't you move abroad?

a dilemma for most third world country citizens. work and living conditions abroad are just too good to pass on especially during the early ages of life. their own families are the one and only thing capable of holding them back.

Very interesting reading, in 2021 I relocated from Brazil to Australia because of my work with IT.
Initially it looked like I was doing the best thing ever for my future and my career, but now that I’m going to my 4th year in the land down under I realize that there was never a “right” and a “wrong” choices, just choices, and you need to learn to live with yours and make the most of it…
That strong feeling of missing your family and your country is definitely relatable, and for me one of the most impacting moments was when I went to visit my family in Brazil after 2 years in Australia. It was a bittersweet feeling because I was still not feeling “home” at Australia, but when I went back to Brazil it also haven’t felt like home.
But as time goes by, Australia feels more and more like my home. But it’s a process… Overall, this was the most enriching experience I ever had in my life, the people I met, the things I lived, that was priceless.

The question should be why CAN’T you move abroad ? 😂😂
If there are any available helpful ressources to guide people who want to go work abroad that would be great
any internet search on the subject will yield job boards full of “opportunities” and that’s about it.

What we call first-world countries used to be good in the period between 70s until early 2000s. Things are going downhill now and it starts to show with incompetent governments focusing on trivial matters and putting duct tapes on problems rather than finding solutions. Only move abroad if you are from a very bad country (Syria, Venezuela, …) or you can be paid at least 4 times more abroad than in your homeland.
