Claude is a text chatbot created by Anthropic that is capable of conducting product/market analysis, creating summaries for documents, extracting specific information from multiple documents, and generating code. It has more recent data than the ChatGPT free version and allows users to upload files for analysis. However, it has limitations in generating images and has a limited free plan. The pricing for the Pro version is $20 per month, the same as ChatGPT Plus.

Why Claude is better than ChatGPT

I’ve been pushing off playing with this until I read this article. I love the feature set and after comparing the same prompt through a few different GPT’s, I find the material that Claude is putting out to be superior, but thats because I like how Claude adds scenerio’s and other information if prompted with the term “Please be as specific and as detailed as possible”. Thumbs up!

Still limited on free mode and being unemployed while using a six year old cheap laptop, means my usage is limited to when I need PDFs summarized (it is great with summarizing ancient Indian religious texts actually).

I’ve had the chance to explore Claude, and I must say, there’s a lot to appreciate. The ability to upload files and the huge context window make it way better to use.
It also generates better quality outputs (especially when it comes to content marketing – my field)
I use GPT 4, too, and it’s also useful. It has file upload, too. I use it for lots of analysis, and if I need to read text from an image, I always use it.
But for creating content, I always turn to Claude.
Claude’s up-to-date information base was a significant advantage, but now GPT 4 is also up-to-date to (like April or August 2023). Plus, you have real-time search with Bing.
GPTs image generation capabilities obviously stand out and are actually super useful with the latest Dall-e model (3).
But Claude seems to be carving out its niche with way higher content quality and better understanding of nuanced prompts.
