Because is fast as fuck, have many interesting features, runs everywhere, has the most perfect IDE ever (Visual Studio, the old brother, not the glorified notepad VSCode). It’s a very solid, fun and easy language (using it since 2002).
But, I miss some things (especially after spending sooooo much time with Dart): it could have some kind of immutability. I miss that. It also spend a loooooooot of RAM (same work being done by dart spends 100x less RAM).
Whenever I need raw performance and don’t mind the extra RAM cost, C# is my way to go on backend.

I love C#. Created by the same brain behind Typescript (before TS) and they are both lovely languages. While I do wish it had some concept of immutability for variables, I can live without that feature with no real complaints. Its just a nice to have.

C# is amazing. I myself use PHP at work but would love to work with this type-safe, compiled and multi functional language.
