I’ve heard many good things about Codeium lately, but the thing is that a whole lot of those YouTube vids that praise it actually have it as a sole sponsor, which is a major turnoff for me personally :/
Like, I can accept that it can absolutely be a completely unbiased review, but on the other hand, in what universe does a youtuber make a review video about Codeium, where that same video is sponsored by Codeium, and it comes to the conclusion that “nah, stick with Co-pilot because Codeium SUCKS”…
Also it feels a bit weird when I hear people describing it as the “free alternative to Co-pilot”. It is free indeed, but only if you don’t want GPT-4 support. Otherwise you need to pay a monthly sub, exactly like Co-pilot.

As a copilot user i was intrigued and tried it for a day. It’s awful. I got back to my trusty copilot.
