Encore and Neon have partnered to power developer infrastructure at two levels. First, Encore uses Neon's database branching to provide instant, production-grade preview environments for every code change — each preview gets an isolated Neon branch with real schema and data, scaling to zero when idle. Second, Encore launched Leap, a full-stack AI agent that generates complete Go or TypeScript applications (including backend services, APIs, database schemas, and infra definitions) and deploys them to real AWS or GCP infrastructure via Encore Cloud, with Neon available as a Postgres option at deployment time. Leap differentiates itself from other AI builders by targeting developers who want production-ready output, GitHub integration with two-way sync, and an in-browser code editor — without locking apps into a proprietary PaaS.
