You’ve got a mountain of bugs waiting for your heroic debugging skills 🐛🛠️, and a list of functionalities screaming for your implementation prowess. Yet, what do you do ? You close your laptop, stretch like a pro athlete, and announce, “This is a tomorrow problem.” 🤷‍♂️
Because honestly, who can debug properly at 2 AM when even the bugs are tired of existing ? 😴✨
As a programmer, I’ve learned an important rule of coding:
Well-rested devs write fewer bugs.
Sleep-deprived devs create new ones. 🙃
So here’s to all my fellow programmers who know when to call it a night. Let’s normalize logging off, not just logging errors. Tomorrow, we’ll slay the bugs and implement those features with fresh eyes and caffeine-fueled brilliance. ☕💡
For now, it’s time to enter sleep mode… because even CPUs need downtime. 🛌💤

Prioritizing rest is essential for programmers to maintain productivity and reduce errors. Working late into the night can lead to more bugs and decreased efficiency. Rested developers are able to tackle bugs and implement features more effectively.

And when you supervisor asks you to do extra time or work faster, you start looking for another team or even another job.
But seriously, it’s important to be protective of you time outside work and stay rested and hydrated.
“This is a tomorrow problem.” is a really wise idea after a workday.

I’m more code-productive when I’m tired. I can produce so much additional lines of code, so much new features noone ask for, do much spaghetti and so much bugs.
It goes well when I’m paid by line. Fortunately I’m not paid for lines of code
