WhatsApp, although known for its end-to-end encryption, has been found lacking in cryptographic management for group messages. Researchers discovered that the app allows the WhatsApp server to add new members to a group, posing a security risk as messages can be read by unauthorized individuals. This flaw is common in many messenger apps except Signal.
