What Will Software Engineering Look Like in 2027?

The same way that all financial services would be using blockchain by 2019 or all factory, deep sea research, warefare, large construction, remote surgeries, natural disaster documenting would be done using AR/VR/Hololens by 2021? Lets see how this article ages.

Very interesting! I share kinda the same vision and as Architect it’s kind of “already the case” :)
And maybe some advanced engineers will have a new role to write difficult codes such as criteria queries or complex stuff when the IA get lost :) But more and more we might tend to it.
Many jobs evolved also this way: More responsibilities for the human, and more automated things for the “daily job”.
No reason for code development to not follow that rule anymore seeing what AI can already do today. (I was clearly skeptical years ago but well I was wrong it happens!)

This article is highly favorable. I am drawn to this for a few reasons. The notion that software engineers are transitioning towards architects are visible on the landscape of job recruitment. Although I have a background in networking and cyber security, I delve in software engineering more often than less, and have combined the areas to move towards cloud computing. Within my cloud computing journey, I am mainly focus on solution architecture, because of the design of software systems.
A.I. is influential and does bring more to the table from the understanding of statistical allocations and prompt engineering. This post highlights the main focus on the future outcome of software engineering and its highly informative.
