What’s the future of React Native? And why does Facebook care?

<li>the fact that Airbnb decided to stop doing React Native means nothing in context of React Native - they were experimenting with React Native and never completely migrated to it (about ~20 percents of the codebase were moved to RN) and there were a number of technical challenges of doing integration of React Native into native codebases;</li>
<li>there are big players like Shopify and Microsoft who invest heavily in React Native;</li>
<li>React Native is one of the most contributed GitHub projects;</li>
<li>there were statements that last year they were trying to have employees working on React/RN outside of Meta, and that’s actually good if technology that is used widely isn’t owned by a company and evolving due to company’s needs, but grows naturally and with community needs.</li>

React Native is just growing (and actually becoming better), so it’s too early to say that RN is dying, and it’s better not to use it

This is really old article, the situation for RN is completely different now and big companies like Microsoft are betting on it for cross-platform development even though they have so many dotnet-based solutions like Xamarin and MAUI

Lots of companies are moving to Flutter as a alternative.
