I think you can learn a lot about someone’s experience and skill level from this activity, so much so I’ve asked this question during interviews.

I go to see a shaman for good passage and kind spirits through the agile realm! Live sacrifices go a long way for refactoring large code bases.

first commit is always “huzzah”

For web projects: First thing after developing the idea is create an MVP goal and open up Figma for a quick concept. After that take one of my project templates (Example Nuxt, Tailwind, Shadcn, …) and start with the most challenging part. After that building the rest of the code (UI and stuff). Then quick cleanup where neccessary. Then countinous backlog development and keeping up a good feedback loop.

it’s all fun and games until your commit message is “here be dragons”
