Himitsu 0.9, a Linux secret storage manager written in Hare, ships several notable improvements. The Python/GTK3 prompter has been replaced with a new GTK4 implementation in Hare using Adwaita and GTK layer shell for Wayland. A new himitsu-secret-service package adds dbus Secret Service API support, enabling Himitsu to serve as a gnome-keyring replacement. Secret key editing is now possible via a 'change' IPC request and the hiq CLI, without needing to delete and re-add entries. Version 0.9 also adds configurable notifications when remembered consent is reused, and himitsu-firefox gains import/export tools plus improved login field detection.
