Google is expanding Gemini Enterprise with a suite of agentic capabilities aimed at enterprise organizations. Key announcements include long-running agents that can autonomously execute complex multi-step workflows for hours or days, an enhanced Agent Designer with no-code and visual interfaces, reusable Skills for codifying workflows, a new Inbox command center for agent management, and Projects/Canvas for collaborative human-agent workspaces. The platform also introduces enterprise governance features including Agent Identity, Agent Registry, and Agent Gateway to manage access controls and prevent shadow AI. Third-party agent integration via an Agent Marketplace and support for Bring Your Own MCP (BYO-MCP) connectors are also included. All governance features are included at no additional cost.
